Back for the second day of work on her new gig, Kate Winslet was in full costume on the New York City set of “Mildred Pierce” on Monday (April 19).
The recently divorced Oscar-winning actress looked focused as she plugged away at the five-hour miniseries being directed by Todd Haynes.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, the HBO production is about “a divorced single mom named Mildred Pierce, who decides to open a restaurant business during the depression, which threatens to damage her already-strained relationship with her ambitious eldest daughter, Veda.”
Also starring Evan Rachel Wood and Guy Pearce, the series is scheduled to hit HBO sometime in 2011.
