Whitney Port Turns Author With True Whit

Branching out with another career move, Whitney Port is taking on the role of author.

The MTV reality cutie, who spent the past weekend partying it up at Coachella, has announced plans to write an advice-dishing book called True Whit.

Due out in 2011, Miss Port’s project has been picked up by It Books, with the publisher describing it as a “conversational, fun, and candid guide for girls looking to start out [in life] with style.”

Whitney, meanwhile, says of her desire to take on the challenging new job tasks, “Being a twenty-something can be a difficult phase. There are so many questions, and I wanted to write about my experiences for anyone who needs help navigating through life.”
